We are delighted to invite you to join our unforgettable Pre-Cruise Tour of Buenos Aires, taking place December 24–28. This specially curated program is designed to enrich your journey with culture, comfort, and meaningful Jewish community experiences as you prepare for the extraordinary adventure that awaits you in Antarctica.

Because this program requires a minimum of 30 participants, we ask that you please pre-register as soon as possible if you are interested, and which option you prefer. Early confirmation will allow us to secure your hotel accommodation in Buenos Aires and ensure that all arrangements are in place for a seamless, high-quality experience. Keep in mind that it is also the Christmas holiday in Buenos Aires, so hotel choices and availability will be very tight, so we have to have your final choice by January 31.

Many of our guests will be traveling to Argentina from different parts of the world, often on long and tiring overnight flights. For this reason, we strongly encourage you to consider arriving earlier and joining the full pre-cruise program. Spending a few extra days in Buenos Aires allows you to rest, acclimate to the time zone, adjust to the warmth and rhythm of the city, and begin this once-in-a-lifetime journey feeling refreshed and relaxed.

Our program includes expertly guided visits to Buenos Aires’ most iconic sights, opportunities to explore historic neighborhoods, delicious all-inclusive kosher meals featuring local and international cuisine, and seamless private transfers throughout your stay. One of the highlights of this journey will be celebrating Shabbat together—an uplifting experience that blends local Jewish heritage, community, and the special atmosphere unique to KosherX tour programs.

Option 1 Sample Itinerary (Subject to change). December 24-28

Day 1 – Thursday (Dec 24): Upon arrival at Ezeiza Airport, you will be greeted by our team and transferred to our hotel. After settling in and relaxing from your travels, we will board our bus and head out for a festive welcome dinner filled with the warm camaraderie of our group coming together.

Day 2 – Friday (Dec 25): Our city tour takes us to Floralis Genérica, Plaza Francia, and Plaza San Martín, the Israeli Embassy memorial before enjoying lunch at a local kosher restaurant. We will then visit Plaza de Mayo and the scenic Puerto Madero waterfront, including the elegant Women’s Bridge. Afterwards, we will return to the hotel to prepare for a meaningful Shabbat in Buenos Aires. Dinner will be at the Chabad house followed by Kabbalat Shabbat services.

Day 3 – Shabbat (Dec 26): We begin with Shacharit services at Chabad followed by a community kiddush lunch. The afternoon offers inspiring shiurim and the option to join a guided walking tour of the neighborhood or simply enjoy a restful break at the hotel. As Shabbat winds down, we gather for Seudat Shlishit before a special Motzei Shabbat program.

Day 4 – Sunday (Dec 27): The day begins with a visit to the Shoa Memorial at Rose Park and a tour of the historic Sephardic Synagogue. After lunch on the go, we head to the majestic Teatro Colón for a private tour, followed by a guided visit to the colorful and lively San Telmo Market. Later, enjoy free time to relax or explore, followed by a traditional Argentinian dinner.

Day 5 – Monday (Dec 28): Following breakfast, we transfer to the airport for our flight to Ushuaia, where we will be greeted and taken directly to the ship to begin our Antarctica cruise.

Option 2 Sample Itinerary (subject to change) – Dec 27-28

Sunday – (Dec 27): Upon your arrival at Ezeiza Airport, you will be greeted by our team and transferred to the hotel. Lunch will be provided for you at the hotel. After you have settled into your rooms, you will join the rest of the group for a traditional Argentinian dinner.

Monday – (Dec 28): Breakfast and transfer to the airport for the flight to Ushuaia.

The Hotel: Deluxe hotel in the Palermo district, within walking distance of the Chabad House. Rooms include high speed internet, room safe, and contemporary furnishings. Hotel amenities include a pool, garden, spa, and fitness center.

Pre-Tour Costs

We are pleased to offer two arrival choices, allowing you to select the plan that best fits your travel schedule. Please note that the full pre-cruise program can only operate with a minimum of 30 guests registered for the four-night option, and we appreciate your timely confirmation so we can secure hotel accommodations and finalize arrangements.

Option 1: 5 Days / 4 Nights Program – December 24–28

This comprehensive program includes all meals, tours, private transfers, Shabbat programming, and deluxe hotel accommodations (flight fees additional).

Price: $3,960 per person, based on double occupancy

Single Occupancy: +$600 additional

This option requires a minimum of 30 participants for the program to run as planned

Option 2: One Night – Sunday Arrival Program – Sunday, December 27

Includes airport transfer to the hotel, lunch at the hotel, dinner with the full group Sunday evening, Monday breakfast and airport transfer (flight fees additional). If time permits, you may enjoy a walk through the city or some local shopping before meeting the group.

Price: $990 per person, based on double occupancy

Single Occupancy: +$190 additional
