Dr. Aaron Arguedas

Dr Arguedas is a professor and faculty member of the Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica.

He is a colonial Latin American historian who reviews the militias, rebellions, piracy, ethnic groups, and Jewish history of Central and Latin America. Before earning his doctorate, Aaron was an expert naturalist guide in Costa Rica leading expeditions exploring the natural wonders of the rainforests, volcanos, coasts, and cloud forests of Costa Rica. Aaron is also a prominent member of the local Costa Rica Kehila.

Guest will have the pleasure of experiencing daily lectures with Dr. Arguedas on both the regions fascinating Jewish history and heritage and its natural wonders.
