The Program:

Experience an unforgettable cruise on board an all-inclusive, expedition resort in the deepest of Brazilian forest. IBEROSTAR and Kosher River Cruises offers our guests an exotic tour expedition on the Río Negro and the Solimões rivers as we explore the natural wonders of the remote Amazonas Brazilian rainforest. Our itineraries are developed for every activity level and offer daily choices of adventure from leisurely rainforest boat tours to jungle trekking. On this cruise, there is something for everyone!

On the Solimões River Amazonas portion of our cruise your itinerary includes the following activities all led by our on-board naturalists: Rainforest trekking, visits to local native villages, motorboat journeys for birdwatching around the Igarapés, piranha fishing, alligator watching, photo safaris by motorboat, plus so much more!

On the Negro River Amazonas portion of the tour your itinerary includes the following activities all led by our on-board naturalists: Travel on foot or by boat through the Jaraqui rainforest region; photo safari by motorboat to the Anavilhanas islands, caiman watching, a visit to the pink dolphins at Novo Airão, bird-watching safaris, visit to an indigenous village, boat trip to the Ariaú River rainforest region, plus so much more!

Evenings are a special time on the IBEROSTAR Grand Amazon with Kosher River Cruises and includes eco-lectures by our resident naturalists, shows, and music in the on-board theatre. For those arriving the night before your pre-tour includes all group transfers (airport-hotel-ship), hotel, all Glatt kosher meals (evening box meal, breakfast, box lunch) and a pre-boarding (Monday) 3-hour guided tour of Manaus including the, Palace, and Opera House.

*Post Tour Manaus – Monday

For those guests with late night flights you have the option of purchasing our post-tour program. Program includes hotel room, all Glatt kosher meals (box lunch, dinner) and group transfers (ship-hotel-airport). Post-tour guests are free to explore the city on their own or our ground agents will be available to offer local tours for purchase.

* Please note mooring and casting off times are only guidelines. We reserve the right to make changes to the itineraries and excursion programs. If due to low or high water or a defective ship a section of the river is closed to travel, the ship-owner reserves the right to transport guests along this section by bus, accommodate them in hotels and /or change the course of this part of the journey. In certain circumstances it may be necessary to transfer to another ship. These situations are rare but do happen from time to time and are all part of riverboat vacations. There’s nothing anyone can do to control mother nature.

Air Booking & Visas

VISAS:Please note travel visas are required for most countries including all USA, Canada, Australia and Japanese nationalities, please check with us or your air agent or call KRC for information. A new eVisa (electronic visa) may now be obtained through the government of Brazils website here: http://www.vfsglobal.com/brazil-evisa/

For those who need assistance with booking your air please call us and we can supply you with an outside air agent for assistance. Please note there will be a ticket issue fee of $50 per person for this service.

Embarkation & Disembarkation

Embarkation (Manaus, Brazil): Check-in is available after 15:30pm. Boat will depart at approximately 17:30. Pre-program and airport transfers are available for an additional fee.

Disembarkation (Manaus, Brazil): Guest will be able to disembark after 10:00am. Post program and airport transfers are available for an additional fee.
